Oxford Diagnostic Laboratories will accept blood samples 7 days a week, public holidays and the Christmas – New Year period excepted (please see table below for details of planned closures in 2011).

Blood samples must arrive at ODL no later than 2.00pm the day after venepuncture (enabled by use of DX).

Bank holiday closures	Last day samples can be received	Results available/service resumes
May Bank Holiday 07th May	by 2pm on 4th May	Results reported from samples sent 04th May will be reported on the 08th May. Normal service resumes 08th May
Whitsun & Diamond Jubilee 04-05th June	by 2pm on 01st June	Results from samples sent on the 01st June will be reported on the 06th June. Normal service resumes 06th June.
August Bank Holiday 27th August	by 2pm on 24th August	Results from samples sent on the 24th August will be reported on the 28th August. Normal service resumes on the 28th August
